Today, Lehmann’s is a premier furniture store that features over 40 rooms of furniture and accessories. The store is constantly updating its inventory to reflect the latest trends in home décor and design, and customers can expect to find everything from classic pieces to modern, cutting-edge designs.

In the 1980s, the store underwent a major renovation that included the installation of an elevator for easy access to all four floors of the building. This addition has made shopping at Lehmann’s a more comfortable and convenient experience for customers of all ages.

Marthanne and the late Mike Lehmann, along with 13 other employees, had been instrumental in making Lehmann’s known for its excellent quality and service. The store is truly a family-run business, with a team of knowledgeable and friendly staff who are always happy to help customers find exactly what they are looking for.

The building that is now a furniture store has a long and rich history. Originally constructed in the 1880s, it was known as the Phelan Hotel and was a prominent establishment in the area. The hotel served as a gathering place for locals and visitors alike, and it played a significant role in the community.

In 1956, the building was purchased by the Lehmann family. They saw an opportunity to transform the hotel into something new and different. They recognized the need for a high-quality furniture and appliance store in the area and decided to take on the challenge of creating one.

Over the next few years, the Lehmann’s worked tirelessly to transform the 52 rooms of the hotel into a state-of-the-art furniture store. They reconfigured the interior to showcase their wares.
